Educational Qualification

| Junior Engineer/Electrical | The candidates should possess full time regular 3/4 years Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an institute recognized by state/ central Government with minimum of 60% marks. |
| Junior Engineer/Sub-Station | The candidates should possess full time regular 3/4 years Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an institute recognized by state/ central Government with minimum of 60% marks. |
| Junior Engineer/Civil | The candidates should possess full time regular 3/4 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from an institute recognized by state/ central Government with minimum of 60% marks. |
Age Limit
The candidates should not be below 18 years and above 37 years of age as on 01/01/2024 to be eligible for the PSPCL JE New Vacancy 2024 and relaxation in age will be as per government of Punjab instructions.

Pay-Scale
The Pay-Scale will be as per PSPCL financial circular no. 21/2022 dated 17.08.2022. The minimum Pay admissible as per 7th CPC/Pay Matrix and report of the in house Committee will be Rs. 35,400/- per month.

- The question paper will consist of 100 objective type multiple choice questions (MCQ).
- All the multiple choice questions will carry one mark for each correct answer and there will be negative marking for a wrong answer @ 0.25 (1/4th) of the marks allotted for correct answer.
- The exam would be of 2 hours (120 minutes) duration.
