Educational Qualification
The candidates must have passed 10+2 Science Examination under Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odhisa/ Equivalent and passed Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from Government Medical College & Hospitals of the Sate/ any other private institutions recognized by Govt of Odisha or All India Council of Technical Education.
If any candidate has obtained higher qualifications like Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) or Master in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) they shall be eligible to apply provided they have obtained the basic qualification as above.
Age Limit
Minimum – 21 years
Maximum – 32 years
Upper age relaxation is applicable as per the Government rules

Plan of Examination for OSSSC Laboratory Technician
There shall be a written examination for 100 marks (MCQ Type in OMR system) in one paper olnly

Syllabus of Examination for Laboratory Technician OSSSC
Standard Syllabus and subjects for examination will be as per the Syllabus of Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. There shall be a Written Test only. The pattern of examination will be MCQ type in OMR system. There shall be negative marking @ o.25 mark per question for wrong/multiple answers.
Selection List
A provisional single merit list of all candidates shall be prepared in order of merit on the basis of sum total of marks secured by the candidates in the Written Test and the marks awarded for contractual work experience, if any, as per Odisha Group C and Group D posts (Contractual Appointment) rules 2013.
