JKSSB, JK Police SI Jobs 2021 Selection Process
Dear applicant, as we all know that, JKSSB has invited online applications from eligible candidates of UT Jammu and Kashmir to filling up the posts of Sub Inspector for J&K Police. The online registrations will start from 10.11.2021 on official website the Board. The recruitment process will be conducted by JKSSB. The Selection of the candidates will be based on the written examination and physical Efficiency test (PST/PET) subsequently conducted by JKSSB.
Today we will specifically talk about the selection process, which consists of Written Examination and Physical Fitness Test. All the recruitment Process will be done by JKSSB.

Selection Process
1. Written Examination
The Selection for the post shall be made on the basis of merit obtained in written examination only
2. Physical Standard Test
The number of candidates to be selected for appearing in the Physical Standard Test shall be six times the total vacancies to be filled up in each category. The candidate shall have to qualify Physical Standard Test to be eligible to appear for next stage of selection process.
For Male Candidates
Minimum Height – 5’ – 6”
Chest – 32”(unexpanded)
Chest – 33½” (Expanded)
For Female Candidates
Minimum Height – 5’ – 2”
Physical Endurance Test
The candidates after qualifying the PST shall be required to undergo the Physical Endurance Test.
For Male candidates
Long Race – 1600 meters in 6 minutes and 30 seconds
Pushups – 20 (one cycle up and down to counted as one)
For Female Candidates
Long Race – 1000 meters in 6 minutes and 30 seconds
Shot Put (4Kgs) – 14½ feet in three attempts
Remember, only those candidates will be selected in this recruitment process that will successfully complete all the stages and provide valid documents to the Board during document verification.
