The candidates should be 10+2 pass from a recognized Board/Institution with credit of representing State/ National/ International in games, sports and Atheletics.

MEDICAL STANDARDS:-

(i) Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, bow legs, squint eyes, inability to close that left eye, inability to flex the fingers often, varicose vein and any other obvious
deformities and should bear good mental health.
(ii) EYE Sight
a) Visual Acuity unaided (Near vision) – Better eye – N6 – Worse eye – N9
b) Uncorrected visual acuity (Distant vision) – Better eye – 6/6 – Worse eye – 6/9
c) Refraction – Visual correction of any kind is not permitted even by glasses.
d) Color vision – CP-III BY ISIHARA
e) – In right handed person, the Right eye is better eye and vice versa.
f) – Binocular vision is required.


(iii) The Medical Examination shall be conducted as per Uniform Medical guidelines for
medical examination issued by MHA vide UO.A-VI-I/2014-Rectt (SSB) dated 20.05.2015 and as amended from time to time.
(iv) Weight: Weight will be recorded at the time of physical measurement but the decision on fitness on account of weight will be taken at the time of medical examination.
TATTOO:
a) Content:Being a secular country, the religious sentiments of our countrymen are to
be respected and thus, tattoos depicting religious symbol or figures and the name, as
followed in Indian Army are to be permitted.
b) Location:Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like inner aspect of forearm
but only left forearm, being non saluting limb or dorsum of the hands are to be allowed.
c) Size:Size must be less than ¼ of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of the body.

Selection Process for CISF Head Constable GD Sports Quota:

Candidates whose applications are found in order will be put through the following selection procedure:-
a) Trial Test in sports events: Those who fulfill the eligibility criteria will be put through the trial test in the sports event to which he/she belongs. The trial test will be qualifying in nature. This organization will not be responsible for any accident/injury caused to the candidate during the course of trial/test.
b) Proficiency Test:Those who qualified in Trial test will be put through the Proficiency Test of 40 marks. The minimum cut off marks in Proficiency Test for all events /sports will be 20 marks. Those who fail to secure the qualifying marks will be issued rejection slip. Additional marks out of 10 will be accorded to the candidate having meritorious certificate/achievement in the respective sports event.
c) Final Selection: Final Selection of candidates will be made strictly according to merit taking into consideration the performance of the candidates during the course of Proficiency Test and the achievement/performance of the candidates during the last edition will also be taken into consideration.
d) Medical Examination:Finally selected candidates will be medically examined and their appointment in the CISF would be subject to their fitness in the medical examination as per the instructions issued from time to time.


Documents required to be attached with application duly self-attested:-
1. Matriculation certificate in support of age.
2. All Certificates in support of educational qualifications.
3. Caste Certificate viz SC, ST OBC or EWS
4. Certificate in support of belonging to Hill/Tribes men/woman, if seeking relaxation in height and chest.
5. Sports Certificates related to the event/discipline.
6. Two recent passport size photographs.
7. Application fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only) in the form of Postal Order/Demand Draft drawn in favour of the officer mentioned under column 3 above and payable at the post office as mentioned under column 4. SC/ST & Female candidates are exempted from application fees.
